Info

For students Gr. 3-4 this fall.  Mandarin is the most widely spoken, serving as the official language in China and Taiwan. Come and learn basic daily conversation in Mandarin, words of things around us and animal names in Mandarin. Traditional Chinese calligraphy brushes will be used to write some Chinese characters and paint. Participants will draw or make crafts of Chinese traditional characters and share Chinese fables while learning the stories of 12 Chinese zodiac animals. Participants will learn some Chinese characters and practice writing them. Lastly, participants will play some games and earn Chinese lucky coins or Chinese art stickers.  This class is limited to 20 students.  No refunds or credits will be provided after fees are paid.
